The aim of these resources is to provide enriching place-based learning experiences within our Hawke’s Bay regional parks and local nature spaces.
Place-based education brings our rangatahi into their local environment, allows a deeper relationship with the whenua, and provides opportunities to take action in their own communities.
Each resource is linked to NCEA standards and suggests an activity in a Hawke’s Bay local park or ngahere. Contact the Hawke's Bay Regional Council for support with these activities: enviro@hbrc.govt.nz
Please protect each nature space you enter by ensuring that plant and wildlife are undisturbed, preserving our special region for future generations.
