Community PartnershipsNgā rangapū hapori

We partner with local organisations and groups to achieve the common goal of ensuring the region grows and prospers, while protecting our clean natural environment.

Hawke's Bay Regional Council works for and is part of the Hawke’s Bay community. We partner with local organisations and groups to achieve the common goal of ensuring the region grows and prospers, while protecting our clean natural environment.

We maintain a range of partnerships with organisations that contribute to the region’s wellbeing, often working alongside each other.

Many of our partners are involved in the protection and enhancement of Hawke’s Bay’s natural environment. Some partnerships are coordinated by the Regional Council, such as the Regional Transport Committee and Tūtira Mangaharuru Forum. In other areas we offer support or participate in groups that align with our goals and vision, such as with Sport Hawke’s Bay, the Volunteer Coastguard or Te Mata Park Trust.
