HBRC Regional Survey
Every 2-3 years, HBRC carries out an independent survey of Hawke’s Bay people.
In April/May 2017 we surveyed 700 people and here are the results of that survey. The purpose of this research was to ascertain Hawke's Bay residents attitudes towards the environment, to measure their awareness and satisfaction with HBRC in regard to its role, and to identify current preferred methods of communication with the council.
Previous results came from a 500-person 'random' telephone survey in April 2015. By comparison, the survey before that took place in April 2013, canvassing 700 Hawke’s Bay people. These results can be found in related documents below.
The survey results are shared with Councillors, Executive and HBRC's Management teams to identify key actions that can be taken.
