HBRC has a fantastic opportunity for a project management extraordinaire. Reporting to the Strategy and Governance Manager, this Senior role will champion project management for the organisation leading the change process and implementation of a consistent approach across Council. You will design and deliver an appropriate and fit-for-purpose communication and engagement plan for staff fostering excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

 Key aspects of the role are to:

  • Champion HBRC Project Management Framework
  • Facilitate internal project management training and mentorship
  • Manage and deliver a wide range of diverse projects across Council
  • Continuously improve and evolve the Project Management Office infrastructure

About you:

You will be an experienced Project Manager with outstanding communication and engagement skills. As a Senior Project Manager you will excel with project delivery, be confident providing training, advice and quality assurance to internal stakeholders.

 The successful candidate will ideally possess and demonstrate the following competencies:

  • A Relevant Bachelor’s degree or equivalent tertiary qualification.
  • A Project Management Certification
  • At least 5 years experience as a project management practitioner
  • Have high community, cultural and political awareness.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills

The salary range for this role is $88,830 - $100,674 depending on qualifications and experience.
