Information on Regional Council rates for properties is now available on the Rating Information Database (RID) from Hawke’s Bay Regional Council.
The database can be easily searched on HBRC’s website www.hbrc.govt.nz (search #ratesdatabase) by entering the property address.
This information provides the basis of rating for each property, in accordance with the requirement of the Local Government (Rating) Act 2002. Included are current rates for the year ending 30 June 2019 and the proposed rates for the year ending 30 June 2020 based on the draft budget.
Alternatively, you can enquire about your property at the Rates counter, Monday to Friday 8.00am-5.00pm, at HBRC’s offices at 159 Dalton Street, Napier.
