The Hawke’s Bay Regional Council Works Group have an exciting opportunity based in CHB.

Hawkes Bay Regional Council - Works Group (a business unit of Council) is seeking an experienced all-rounder with a focus on tree felling and chainsaw operation, to join our team based at Waipukurau.
We are seeking a multi-skilled person with a broad range of skills who is competent in the use of chainsaws and tree felling and has experience in spraying and general construction works such as fencing, concrete placement and general carpentry.
NZQA qualifications relating to any of the above including Chainsaw /tree felling, GrowSafe, and RTW would be an advantage.
Good documentation skills and an ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of people including land owners and Council Engineers is required. You shall be committed to safe work practices, have a positive attitude to health and safety, and be comfortable working independently, or in a team environment.
