Hawke’s Bay Regional Council is looking for a person with an engineering, environmental or parks qualification to add their skills and enthusiasm to its Regional Assets team in the role of Senior Open Spaces Development Officer.This role will focus on the Open Spaces portfolio assisting in the management, development and delivery of this service including regional parks, urban stream enhancement, public access and river ecological management. You will ensure our regional parks and urban streams are effectively managed, contractors are audited and the regional network improvement programme is effective.
You will have a strong understanding of issues associated with Hawke's Bay rivers, landscape values and ecosystems. Excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity and cultural values.
