Temporary Exclusion Zone – Hardinge Road Foreshore, Napier
Hawke’s Bay Ocean Swim Series
In accordance with the Navigation Safety Bylaws 2018, Clause 3.9, the sea area within the East Pier (Perfume Point) foreshore to the rock groyne at Battery Road Beach and extending seaward to the yellow buoys 200m from the shore is temporarily reserved for a swimming event from:
8.00am to 10.00am Saturday 19 January 2019.
For safety reasons, the event area is closed to all unauthorised water craft, net or line fishing, or any other water activity likely to interfere with the event, except as directed by race officials.
Should weather conditions prevent the event from taking place at Hardinge Road, Pandora Pond is temporarily reserved for the same period and the same conditions apply.
