Excavator Operator

The Works Group (a business unit of Council) is seeking a competent excavator operator with relevant experience based at our Waipukurau Depot to be responsible for undertaking river and drainage maintenance, tree clearing, earthworks, and minor capital works throughout the CHB area.

At times you may be required to undertake other duties to meet the needs of the unit which requires good physical fitness and a willing can do attitude.  Good documentation skills and an ability to communicate with a broad spectrum of people including land owners and Council Engineers is required.  You shall be committed to safe work practices, have a positive attitude to health and safety, and be comfortable working independently, or in a team environment.
