About The opportunity | Ko te āheinga:

We are seeking a skilled Cost Manager to play a key role in managing the financial and contractual aspects of critical infrastructure projects. This is a is a fixed term (up to 18 months), full-time position. With an expected annual delivery of $80M - $100M, this is your opportunity to drive projects that really matter. In this dynamic position, you’ll ensure infrastructure project are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

About you | E pā ana ki a koe:

To succeed in this role, you’ll have a relevant tertiary qualification in either Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or related field, alongside a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project cost management or quantity surveying. You’ll have expertise in cost management principles, advanced numerical analysis, and proficiency in industry- standard software. Familiarity with NZS3910 construction contracts, local regulations, financial reporting systems, and health, safety, and environmental standards is critical.  

A collaborative mindset, strong organisational skills, and an appreciation of how tikanga Māori and Māori values relate to Regional Council functions will support your success.
