We are looking for a Team Leader Freshwater and Marine Science to join the Environmental Science section within the Integrated Catchment Management Group. The role is responsible for leading a team of five talented scientists specialising in freshwater and marine ecosystems. This involves positively leading the team by offering support, coaching and other professional development opportunities to ensure their work effort meets efficient and effective service delivery.
To successfully lead the team of highly specialised technical experts, you will require a thorough understanding of the scientific method along with experience performing complex data analysis and reporting results to both technical and non-expert audiences. You will have a relevant postgraduate degree or equivalent tertiary qualification alongside a minimum of 5 years experience within a relevant industry. Previous experience effectively managing complex (multi-disciplinary, multi-agency and multi-objective) technical projects will also be essential.
