Hawke's Bay Regional Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader Engagement to join our Infrastructure Project Manager Office (IPMO) team within the Asset Management Group. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engagement plans that support HBRC projects. You’ll play a central role in building strong relationships to obtain broad support for specific Projects with internal and external stakeholders, including iwi, hapū, landowners and local authorities. You’ll also have input into related communication approaches, and marketing initiatives, ensuring clear and consistent messaging across all platforms.
You’ll be a skilled and experienced community level communicator with appropriate experience in community engagement and communications, with at least five years of senior-level experience in these two areas. You’ll excel in building collaborative relationships and working well with diverse stakeholders. Your flexibility and innovative thinking will help you anticipate and adapt to change. You’ll be highly organised, able to plan and manage multiple priorities while ensuring the highest quality work is delivered on time.

The salary range for this role is between $86,785 to $105,061 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. This is a high-performing and motivated team of professionals that you will be joining, offering an opportunity to experience working within local government and supporting the recovery work from Cyclone Gabrielle.
