We're seeking a dynamic and versatile Corporate Support Assistant to join our Corporate Services team at Hawke's Bay Regional Council. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our vision of a healthy environment and a resilient, prosperous community. You'll be at the heart of our operations, providing crucial support across various functions and helping us deliver excellent service to our staff and community.

 

Key responsibilities include:

 

  • Coordinating facility maintenance and fleet management
  • Handling procurement and supplier relations
  • Operating financial systems and managing purchases
  • Providing administrative support and documentation services
  • Offering backup support to other team members
  • Adapting to diverse organizational needs

We're looking for someone who:

 

  • Proficiency in MS Office suite and database management systems
  • Has sound judgment and takes initiative
  • Can create harmony in a team environment
  • Anticipates change and remains flexible
  • Demonstrates courtesy and excellent listening skills
  • Can manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines 
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A valid driver's license

What we offer | Nga huanga mōu:

The salary range for this role is between $56,700 to $63,000 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
