Join our dynamic ICT team at Hawke's Bay Regional Council as an Intermediate Business Application Analyst. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive continuous improvement, champion business solutions, and ensure our technology serves our community and environment effectively. You'll be at the forefront of analysing business needs, supporting business users across our applications, and delivering innovative solutions that support our vision of a healthy environment and a resilient, prosperous community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Champion business solutions with a focus on customer experience and satisfaction
  • Analyse, evaluate, and implement change requests and improvements
  • Collaborate across stakeholder groups to design and implement solutions
  • Promote and coordinate end-user training
  • Provide Level 2 & 3 support for key business applications
  • Research and promote new technologies to transform our business
  • Contribute to ICT projects of varying complexity

Ideally, you will also have:

 

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree
  • 4-8 years of experience in a business application analysis role
  • Experience in the ERP Platform CiA (TechnologyOne)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with business analysis tools and techniques such as use cases, process modelling, and requirements gathering
  • Proven expertise in implementing solutions using technology such as Office 365, SQL database queries and constructs, workflow automation, reporting tools and GIS
  • Resilience, adaptability, and flexibility to thrive in the ever-changing nature of HBRC.

 

What we offer | Nga huanga mōu:

The salary range for this role is between $89,640 and $99,600 and will depend on the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.
