Event: NZ Offshore Powerboat Race

In accordance with provisions of the Hawke’s Bay Navigation Safety Bylaw, there will be a reserved area for the NZ Offshore Powerboat Race.
The demarcated area will be reserved from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday March 16th, 2024.
Speed restrictions will be temporarily uplifted for powerboats and response crafts that are part of the event.
For safety reasons, the race area is closed to all unauthorised personnel. Fishing, swimming, or any other activity within the proximity of the reserved area that may interfere with the event is prohibited for the duration of the event.
