About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Communications Advisor to join the Communications and Engagement team on a full-time bases.

The team are a fun, creative and diverse group of communications professionals who deliver fantastic campaigns together and provide essential marketing and strategic communications advice to the organisation. The Communications Advisor’s role is to provide communications advice to the organisation, build and deliver critical communications campaigns, and support engagement activity with the community.

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic comms superstar! Preferably you would have an interest in the environment and can think outside the box about ways to tell our stories and engage our community.

We are looking to strengthen our social media, media and Te Ao Māori capabilities so skills and knowledge in these areas would be a bonus.  You’ll also be proactive, agile, flexible to change, and able to build strong relationships with our teams and key stakeholders.

 The successful candidate will need to have a relevant tertiary qualification, experience in the communications, marketing and/or public relations fields, and excellent relationship, writing and project management skills.

In addition to the above, you will also have:

• Relevant tertiary qualification
• Excellent writing and project management skills
• High level of Microsoft office and computer skills
• A clean full driver’s licence
