What are the climate change risks the region faces, now and over the longer term?

Regional Climate Change Risk

The Climate Action Joint Committee has commissioned Hawke’s Bay’s first regional climate change risk assessment. The findings of this work will be summarised and published in a technical report.

The assessment is being undertaken based on existing available data and information and will assess what we currently know about our climate risks at both a regional and district level. The report will be a shared evidence base that can inform climate adaptation decision-making and action across the region.
