Rates by Email
You can now receive your city or district and regional rates accounts by email.
The councils in Hawke’s Bay are working together to reduce unnecessary waste and cost. As more ratepayers are paying through direct debit and other online banking methods, receiving a rates account by email makes sense.
- Simply go to your local council's website (link provided below)
- Follow the instructions on the web page. When you sign up for your local council rate accounts, your annual regional council rates account will be automatically emailed as well unless you opt out online. You will also get any information newsletters associated with the rates.
- If you want to continue having your rates posted, you do not need to do anything and we will still post it.
