Senior Land Management Advisor – Implementation (Vacancy 16-845)

Do you have a sound understanding of rural issues? Can you influence change?

Hawke’s Bay Regional Council wants an excellent communicator and innovator with an understanding of farming systems and the challenges in realising long term sustainable outcomes for the rural community.  You will be comfortable taking the initiative to develop and implement solutions to Council’s sustainable land management challenges.

We need you to have at least five years’ experience in sustainable land management, ideally have post graduate qualifications and the ability to build, implement and manage a range of programmes.  You will be providing advice and support to landowners, agricultural intermediaries and farm plan providers alongside a variety of other agencies considering economic, environmental and social outcomes.  You will be a strong advocate of industry best practice.
